» Even New Zealand cricket team say they can beat us
Cheers mates.
The Daily Telegraph’s unflattering headline ahead of the Australia vs. New Zealand one day series, which starts on Sunday.
I am also getting sick of the media’s constant characterisation of Brendon McCullum as a “big-hitting wicketkeeper”. I can’t be bothered looking up when his last half tun was, but it wasn’t in any game I’ve seen recently, and his ODI average is sitting at 28. He’s an exciting player when all goes well for him, but he gets cocky way too early. If he wasn’t such a good wicket keeper, he would certainly be in doubt as a batsman on his recent form. Fingers crossed he scores some runs in Australia.
I know my cricket rants are totally self indulgent so thanks for bearing with me.
