Media Hag

I'm Gen and I'm a TMT lawyer. In 2009, I moved home to Auckland from London where I had lived for 3 years. I blog about media law, publishing, politics, digital strategy, fashion, cricket and my border terrier Brendon McCullum. Any views expressed on Media Hag are mine alone. Condé Nast, with Clerkenwell scenester stylist Katie Grand at the editorial helm, has just launched Love magazine, which doesn’t have a proper website - which I suspect is a strategic move.

Brave (or desparate?) move for Condé Nast, in these days where circulation of paper based publications are plummeting almost without exception (the one exception in question being CN’s flagship glossy British Vogue).

I will be interested to see whether Love gets any love from the Shoreditch cool kids or whether they’ll will just stick with checking out the Sartorialist… I suspect the latter.
