I love this image of my hometown. It’s called Ponsonby 1971 and is by photographer Marti Friedlander. It’s hard to figure out what street the photo is taken from as the harbour has been built up so much now I don’t think you can see Rangitoto (the island in the centre background) from this far back any more.
